Elets has a rich history of successfully organizing various ICT and development related issues in collaboration with its partners. Elets has hosted several conferences, seminars and workshops to provide an objective platform to the domestic and global research and media community to exchange ideas and views and share knowledge. The knowledge sharing is done through globally renowned annual conferences like eINDIA and eASiA that attract academicians and researchers from all across the globe.

eINDIA conferences are inclusive, consultative and constructive ICT for Development forum – the largest and only one of its kind in India – promoting and propagating the use of ICT4D through its multiple seminal thematic track conferences. The conference aims to build a neutral platform for sharing knowledge and collaboration and strategic networking for ICT for Development. The larger vision has been to contribute to creative ideas and processes that can bridge the digital divide and connect practitioners. As a result, it has helped to bring the community closer, creating new alliances and collaborations and enable them to build an understanding of convergent issues in development. The process initiated at these consultations offer the space to learn freely, with open minds, paving the path for an enlightened and egalitarian, collective vision for socially and economically equitable India using ICTs for development, which can become examples for other countries in Asia and elsewhere in the world.
eINDIA through its five seminal conferences focuses on five emerging application domains of ICT for Development - e-Government, ICT in Education, ICT and Rural Development, ICT enabled Health services and ICT in Agriculture. eASiA is an open ICT for development platform for Asian countries, to discuss opportunities and challenges in promoting growth of ICT4D, through consultative dialoguing, strategic planning, knowledge networking and business partnering. It is the annual international Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) for development event with the objective of reinforcing technology and knowledge-centric growth and needs of Asia.
